I work at a startup, which is literally in a garage, a really cool and fun space. We share it with a couple other startups, one of which is Mozes which is havings its big beta launch now, kicked off with a post on TechCrunch.

An example to show what you can do with Mozes is probably easiest. If you text "marcus" to 66937 (mozes), you will get a response. Try it now, really. I'll wait. Ok, you should of got a response from them with my message I created. This response could be anything you want, you can even change it from your phone, from anywhere. And in the future, using their developer API, provide dynamic content.

I can also see this as being really cool, basically a new request/reponse platform which is all the web is anyways. This is just a little more mobile. Here's a few other things you can text to 66937 right now:

  • text "flickr" [username] - bookmark flickr user
  • text "KFOG" - get latest song currently playing
  • text "gossip" - get latest gossip returned to your phone
  • text "myspace [username] - bookmark myspace user
  • text "note" [any text] - take notes any where

Check it out, create your own and see what you can come up with.
